Current Situation

10 best Schools in Kenya

  • With a population o 351 girls to TSC has only posted 7 teachers so far. This school has made the school to have a very big wage of S BOM teachers. So we cannot do much with parents funds because of this.
  • There is only one functional dormitory which was meant to house 160 girls. It now houses to 351 girls. So congestion is at a rate of 101%. Even after construction of a dormitory extension courtesy of the Ministry of Education grant of one million, the whole population still uses the same ablution area. So girls waste a lot of the the same facilities in
  • Porous fence — our fence is very porous. However much we renovate, there are panya routes all over, goats and dogs always invade. It has also brought security and threats of indiscipline. Some p friends and neighbours sneak in foods, drugs and phones through same.
  • Lack of staff quarters. – Challenge for effective supervision of preps because there are few teachers who live in the school compound.
  • House for Matron — The matron is also housed in one of the cubes in the dormitory so sharing the same ablution facilities with the girls.
  • No functional library. – However, the teachers have donated their staff room to be used as a library. So currently they have no staff room

  • Very supportive parents. — we have wonderful parents. 90% of our parents turn up for meetings and fully support school programmes.
